Cactus Curators is a small home-grown nursery tucked quietly away in a nook of the Rio Verde Foothills, framed by majestic Sonoran Mountain vistas, at the northern tip of Scottsdale, AZ.
What started out as a hobby for an amiable young man quickly became a lifelong calling for Chris McKaig, Cactus Curators’ owner and horticulturalist. As one of the Valley’s known authority on desert plants, Chris has been interviewed on local radio and TV. His counsel is often sought after by growers, other nurseries, landscape architects, landscapers, HOAs, and anyone who needed to know more about cacti and their habitats.

From Rio Verde Drive in North Scottsdale, turn right onto 164th Street (heading south) which then becomes Cavedale Drive. At house number 16308 on the right, the abundance of myriad desert plants and trees informs you that you’ve arrived at the home of Cactus Curators.
